Poutine Canadian Cuisine

January 28th, 2009

Some friends of mine are over in Canada skiing. Howdy!

They’re having a ball. Canada looks great and they have been getting some snow. There’s only one problem…Poutine, a favourite dish of our Canadian counterparts that was actually invented in Quebec.

Ingredients
Chips
Chunky Cheese Curd
Gravy

Preparation
1. Cook chips and place in a bowl
2. Cook Gravy
3. Pour cheese curd and gravy on top

Are you a fan of Poutine?

    dude,
Poutine is available and eated only in Québec.
No way in the rest of Canada !

Poutine is also found in Ontario. Also, amazing topped with pulled pork.

  3. Poutine is the ultimate comfort food (not with pork though) but you need the real cheese curds (regular old cheese won’t work and orange cheese curds are just offputting) and the read poutine gravy and super crispy hot french fries or it just doesn’t work.

The best poutine is at Loulou Patate in Aylmer, QC - just a little diner but awesome poutine.

    Poutine = QUÉBEC!
It’s SOOOO good. If you come to Québec one day eat some! (but, don’t eat it too often so you don’t get fat) ;)
